Renowned Nigerian rapper, Illbliss has made public his opinion about the current situation of Nigerian rappers and the state of Nigerian Hip-Hop.
In a chat with HipTV, the rapper pointed out that Nigerian hip-pop is suffering from identity crisis. He likened the state of hip-hop in the country to Nigerian economy with lots of shortcomings.
Illbliss stated that the issue of Nigerian rappers diving into singing is an attempt to foster wider interest in their music which will translate to more income in the long run. According to him, it is not fair enough to blame rappers who compromise, hip-pop has been broke and money making is equally essential.
