AC Milan director of football Massimiliano Mirabelli has dismissed reports linking his club with Antonio Conte.
It comes amid continued speculation in Conte’s native Italy over his future as Chelsea boss.
It was claimed that Conte was being considered as a potential replacement for Milan boss Vincenzo Montella, who is reportedly under pressure.
Speaking to Milan radio station Radio Rossonera, Mirabelli said: “We already have a manager and we are not thinking of Conte nor about other managers.”
Antonio Conte signed a new contract with Chelsea recently after a successful debut campaign, though there was no extension included as part of the deal. The Blues manager, who led the team to the 2016-17 Premier League crown, is tied down at Stamford Bridge until 2019.
Chelsea would love to keep him around for longer if possible. The Italian has given everyone at the club a huge lift, bringing intensity, tactical acumen and a winning mentality to this team.
